Looker Studio provides a range of tools for exploring and visualizing the data, including charts, graphs, and maps, as well as the ability to filter and drill down into specific data points. The software also provides a range of security and access controls to ensure that data is kept safe and confidential.

Overall, Looker Studio aims to make data analysis more accessible and user-friendly for organizations of all sizes, and help them make better-informed decisions based on their data.

The data, dashboards, reports and visualizations that Looker Studio provides will remain top-of-mind for team members and stakeholders when frequently displayed on a TV or monitor in the office. This can be achieved using Screenly’s digital signage solution. Below, we provide a step-by-step guide on how to display reports/visualizations from your Google Looker studio on your screen using Screenly’s software.

Getting your public Domo dashboard URL

The first major step to displaying your Looker report on a screen using Screenly’s software is to get the public share URL for the report you wish to display on the screen. To do this, you’ll have to make use of the following steps:

First, you’ll have to log in to your Google Looker Studio account and open the report you would like to display on your digital sign. At the top-right of the report, click on “Share”.

In the new pop-up modal, under “Link Settings”, make sure access is set to “Public” and role is set to “Viewer”. This step makes sure Screenly’s software can access your report via the report URL.

Setting up your digital sign

Now that you have your public URL, the next step is setting up your digital sign. To set up your digital sign, first purchase a digital signage player. A digital signage player is a small physical device that renders content to your TV or monitor - Screenly offers the Screenly Player and Screenly Player Max. You can then pair your digital signage player and associated screen to your online Screenly account.

The next step for showing your Looker dashboard on a digital sign is adding the public URL for your dashboard to your online Screenly account. To do so, follow the steps below.
